Should i read the hunger games?

ok so i remeber a while back when i checked out the hunger games from my school library, i read a few pages and was confused about it so i put it down and returned it to the library. so i was thinking if i should try it again, beacsue i like th scifi type of stuff. like the maze runer/scorch trials and i am number four. so should i get it again or not
