My laptop's power pin seems to be loose?

I Have a Toshiba Satellite L655 and about a month ago i dropped my laptop on the floor with the ac adapter still plugged in and it became loose. For 3 weeks it was fun until it started becoming scorching hot when plugged in for prolonged amounts of time. Now it doesn't seem to do that anymore but randomly, the ac adapter won't work. I think my laptop's pin is broken or something but I'm not sure. Any suggestions on what I should do?
